The Hungarian government has approved new rules for obtaining tourist visas. The procedure has become much more complicated due to additional requirements. This was announced by the visa application center, which is engaged in issuing visas to Hungary, VFS Global.
Major changes in requirements:
The VC must provide not only insurance, but also a receipt confirming the payment. This is due to the fact that cases of registration of fake health insurance have become more frequent.
You will also need a certificate from your employer. It should contain the dates of the vacation and confirmation that the employee retains his workplace. This requirement is aimed at excluding illegal migration.
You need to attach to the application a bank statement with information about all account movements over the past six months.
In addition, now you will definitely have to pay in advance for airfare and hotel accommodation. This must be confirmed by a check, paper or electronic, or by an invoice or cash receipt.
